A featured five-star character does not have one fixed cash price. The remaining cost depends on current pity, featured-guarantee status, saved currency and the eligible packages available to the account. An exact estimate must therefore start with the account rather than a universal price claim.

It is also important to distinguish a conservative ceiling from an expected outcome. A ceiling describes resources sufficient under an unfavorable result within the current banner rules. It does not predict that every player will use that amount.

Calculate the additional wish ceiling

For Character Event Wishes, a five-star is obtained within ninety wishes from zero pity. If the next five-star is guaranteed featured, subtract current pity from ninety. Without that guarantee, a conservative ceiling for one featured character is 180 minus current pity.

An account at twenty pity therefore has a remaining ceiling of seventy with a guarantee or 160 without it. An account at seventy pity has a ceiling of twenty or 110. The same target character can require very different additional reserves.

Confirm the live in-game details and use only the relevant banner history. Weapon and other banner systems should not be priced using the same assumptions automatically.

Deduct the saved resources

Take the guaranteed twenty-wish case. It requires 3,200 Primogems. If the account holds eight Intertwined Fates and 1,120 Primogems, the remaining currency gap is 800. Existing crystals allocated to conversion would reduce it further.

In the unguaranteed 110-wish case with the same savings, the gap is 15,200 Primogems. A small purchase has a different role in these two situations: it can close the conservative gap in one and merely add attempts in the other.

When asking how much are genesis crystals, connect the package comparison to that measured shortfall. The base tier alone does not reveal the credited quantity because bonus eligibility can change the total.

Translate currency into actual payments

Genesis Crystals convert to Primogems one for one. After determining the gap, compare eligible package combinations that meet or exceed it. Use the final charged amount, including relevant fees and currency conversion.

Do not apply a first-purchase double repeatedly to the same tier. A purchase sequence can consume an entitlement and change the quantity available on the next order. The cheapest valid combination must respect those conditions.

An average cost per wish multiplied by the remaining ceiling is only an approximation. Discrete package sizes can leave extra crystals, and different packs can have different effective rates. The checkout combination determines the actual cash commitment.

Explain what the estimate means

The phrase how much are primogems can refer to the currency required for attempts or to the cash price of acquiring that currency. State which quantity is being discussed. If you calculate a conservative payment ceiling, label its assumptions: current pity, guarantee, savings, bonus state and quoted prices. Without them, a precise number can be mistaken for a universal character price.

Do not use a lucky early result to promise a low typical cost. Likewise, do not imply every player must spend the full ceiling. Actual outcomes vary, and the purchase plan should let favorable results reduce spending.

Stop when the original goal is met

After obtaining the desired featured character, close the first-copy budget. Constellations and weapons are separate goals requiring separate decisions. Leftover currency does not make further wishes free; it remains a resource with future uses.

If an off-featured result occurs, recalculate the new state before another purchase. Keep the original cash ceiling even when the account's remaining requirement changes.

The most useful cost answer is account-specific and conditional. It explains how much remains to be funded, what eligible purchases cover that amount and what uncertainty the plan is designed to withstand. That gives the player a real decision instead of a headline number detached from their account.
