Sonic.exe The Disaster 2D Remake (abbr. TD2DR/TD2D) is an massively multiplayer online survival horror fan game created by members of EXE Empire. As the game's name implies, it is based on OutLaik's Sonic.EXE: The Disaster series as well as the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and attempts to fit the gameplay of TD in the style of 2D Sonic games. The game was fully released on July 27, 2023, on Game Jolt. The game is still playable, but was discontinued APKSoftonic.
Sonic.exe The Disaster 2D Remake is a survival game where two teams show off against each other to win.
One player is selected to be on the .EXE team by chance as the main antagonist while every other player is placed on the survivor team. Team .EXE must kill every member of the team Survivor or convert them to their team as a minion; team Survivor must live until the last minute of the round and escape through a green warp ring. Every player has abilities that help them defeat or outplay the members of the other team.
There are 18 maps that players can play on, each one having unique gimmicks that challenge survivors. Completing certain tasks gives players in-game currency that they can spend to unlock cosmetic customization options.
